WHO I AM

TLDR:

From age 21 until now (36), I've been ingrained in the music industry. It started by going to school for music business then quickly began working with rising artists to icons with one goal; helping them cut through the noise and connect with their fans. I help extract captivating narratives out of my clients and package it with their music to help take their promotion to another level while allowing for deeper fan-artist connection.

MY JOURNEY:

11 yrs old: Father took me to a KISS concert — I immediately wanted to learn guitar, it was the catalyst to my music industry journey that was to come.

12 yrs old: Lobbied my grandmother to help me buy my first guitar (and probably my second guitar, third guitar, etc).

16-19 yrs old: played guitar in bands, wrote songs - the usual. 

21 yrs old: Moved to Los Angeles to go to school for Music Business. This is where I met my future wife.

21 yrs old: Got my FIRST internship, a boutique music PR firm. Did ANOTHER internship with Bug Music Publishing (the largest independent music publishing company at the time - in their creative department).

22 yrs old: Got hired by the first internship, the boutique PR firm.

23 yrs old: Got hired at a prestigious PR firm and invested over seven years there to learn everything I could; allowing me to further build my skill set, positive reputation as a publicist, and overall strategist. 

27 yrs old: Married my beautiful wife. 

29 yrs old: We welcomed our first child into the world and launched my own PR firm, MILESTONE

30 yrs old: Moved to Nashville, TN and relocated Milestone HQ. 

34 yrs old: Welcoming second child into our family.

36 yrs old: Launched my advisory program and podcast, BACKSTAGE BANTER, to help accelerate artist careers and educate on how to properly navigate the elusive music industry.
